MY YESTERDAYS

Oh, I think I see them. Are they? Yes, there they are." Finally, after long months, my friends, for a long time, have finally returned to me. That’s actually the way I felt. We have a strange relationship. I’ve always considered them mine and they pretty much owned me too. It had worked really well for all of us, until now.

   
Running past me without even a second glimpse, they jumped full force into the arms of each other. All of us had always been like peas in a pod so I wasn’t at all surprised he leapt into his arms first. And as usual the whole friendship-nagging thing started right back up again. Just proves that distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder between friends.

   
They turned to me in a slightly awkward glance. "I thought you had to work?!" Their expression lightened as they bear hugged me. You know when a hug lasts slightly longer than normal, that’s how all of our hugs felt.

Making friends for a lot of us comes naturally, but maintaining these friendships may become somewhat difficult. This is because true friendship cannot survive without these three aspects: Love, Respect and Honesty. If any of these aspects are lacking in the friendship, it will slowly disintegrate. True friendship needs equal shares of love, respect and honesty. Therefore, to maintain true friendship, you need the whole package, just not apart of it.

Can you stand if I get crazy sometimes? I also have tantrums. I really don't talk when I'm upset but that doesn't mean I don't love you anymore.

That if there's something bothering you, you'll feel comfortable letting your thoughts. And it's ok if you'll lay your head on my shoulder without words too. I promise to hold your hand.


I've waited for quite sometime now and yes, it may seem a cliche but I died each day that I've waited for you. What's another months or another 5 years to wait?


I long for that day when I can finally say that the search is finally over...

American Idol's J.Lo & Steven Tyler, OUT!

I've been on hiatus for like two (2) months now. Couldn't find the time (or the interest) to write something worth my energy, in more properly speaking. But hey! American Idol just caught my attention. I'm not really a big fan of the show, and to be honest, have watched only one season, that time of Carrie Underwood. Simply because she's awesome!


Now let's look back at what has happened now to the show... First, there were Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul. Then Karen Dioggardi was added in the picture. Paula took off, J.Lo came in, then Simon left also. For the past two seasons, 11 and 10 of American Idol respectively, people are already used to seeing Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler on the judges table. I'm not sure if this is a surprise or what, but these two judges have already confirmed that they will no longer be returning for season 12. Personally, I find this as the most sensible decision that FOX have made.


It's no surprise ofcourse that with the continuous drop of viewership of American Idol, it's just right that these judges will bid farewell to Idols. With the growing popularity of Christina Aguillera's "The Voice" plus the most anticipated return of "X-Factor US" being judged by none other than Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and that MIB look alike, forgot his name, American Idol management is making a huge revamp of the show.


My suggestion, they should target the young adults as the Idols market. This trend of a white guy with a guitar winning the show is bad, so bad and this has to stop one point or another. This teenagers barbie should be restricted in voting! OOOops! Just kidding. :-D


Going back to these judges, let's drop the pretensions, they were not really judging right? They will repeat their feedback to the contestant everytime. You know what I mean, come on! And last time I heard, Randy Jackson is also on a cloudy train. Will he return? Will know that soon... Or maybe tomorrow!

Who are the best and fitted replacements for J.Lo and Tyler? My vote goes out to Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake. Discuss!
