HOW TO BE A SUPER HOT DUDE!

Stereotypically men are supposed to think less about their physical appearance than women. Such is not the case in reality. If you are a guy who wishes he looked hotter, read on. The following are great steps to get you looking hot and acting hotter.

  • Steps

  1. Get plenty of sleep. Good-looking people sleep a lot! Go to bed early and wake up early (Teens should get 9.25 hours of sleep according to the National Sleep Foundation). If you get up at 7 AM, go to bed at 10:00 pm every night, even on weekends. You want to set your clock so that you can fall asleep and wake up great.

  2. Eat healthy foods and avoid fast foods. Including salmon and foods that contain Omega 3s will also improve the look of your skin. Water will help flush toxins and should replace soft drinks. Watch your caloric intake to prevent pudge and increase your protein intake to help you build muscle.

  3. Exercise for about 30 minutes when you wake up. Make sure that you sweat! Exercise will bring a healthy glow to your face and help your skin look its best by increasing your blood circulation.

  4. See a professional trainer and begin a work out program at your gym several times a week. Monitor your progress with regular weighing and measurements.

  5. Take a shower and wash yourself well. Use antibacterial shower gels and wear deodorant if you tend to sweat a great deal. Condition your hair and apply a body spray or cologne.

  6. Visit a dentist for a good cleaning, teeth whitening and discuss the removable braces or veneers. Remember to go back every 6 months.

  7. Visit a dentist for a good cleaning, teeth whitening and discuss the removable braces or veneers. Remember to go back every 6 months.

  8. Work on your tan. A tan gives the appearance of being thinner and healthier. Use self-tanning products for a sun free tan. Exfoliate well before applying a self tanner. Apply as directed. While you are self-tanning, avoid exercising and exfoliating your skin, so use a cleanser without AHAs that will not get rid of your sunless tan. Try different formulas and strengths to find one that works for you without turning your skin orange. Spray on tanning is also available at salons.

  9. Style your hair in a current style that suits your look. Pay for a professional hair stylist and not a barber. Have high or low lights added as necessary. Use styling products and maintain your hair with regular salon appointments.

  10. Consider waxing to remove unwanted hair. If you have long hair on your back you might consider waxing or laser removal for a long term removal. If you have very hairy legs and armpits, thin them with regular trimmings. Complete shaves will require constant maintenance to avoid stubble and unpleasant regrowth. Trim your armpits and bikini zones so you have a lot less hair! "Manscaping" has become a normal and expected part of the male grooming ritual.

  11. Dress stylishly and well in good fitting and quality clothing. Even if you are not naturally good looking dressing well can do wonder for your attractiveness. Add a few stylish pieces into your wardrobe as often as you can. Stop wearing poorly fitted clothes and scuffed or athletic shoes. Abercrombie & Fitch & Polo Ralph Lauren are all good choices but can be expensive. Chose clothing that will make you look good with the fit and style. Create your own style by combining pieces.

  12. Work on your attitude! Hot guys aren't timid and shy. Don't be obnoxious but don't be afraid to have a conversation with people, including strangers. The hottest guys are also pleasant, polite and friendly. Don't try to lift yourself up by putting people down. Be generous and honest with your compliments to people. You can always find something nice to say. Being nice makes it easier for people to be around you and befriend you. Don't pretend to be smarter or cooler than you are. Try to be a gentlemen. Hot only gets you so far if you're a jerk.

  13. Appearing too eager can knock your hotness down a few notches. Don't play too hard to get but don't chase women either. Let them drop hints that they are available before you suggest getting together then don't rush to call immediately. Appear otherwise engaged with other interest and not girl crazy. Most importantly, save something about yourself for that first, second or third date. Women like a little mystery, and there is nothing worse than that awkward silence when you realize you've run out of things to say.

  • Tips

  1. If you have bad knees, use the elliptical machine because it exercises without the resistance that can damage your knees.

  2. If you are not a very good shopper, get a friend, wife, girlfriend or even your mom (if she has any taste) to help you pick out good stuff. Asking a female friend to help you pick clothing is a great way to meet people too.

  3. Have good personal hygiene and groom yourself. Don't bite your nails. Keep them clean cut if not clean.

  4. Eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, legumes, fish and lean meats. Cut out fast foods, foods with sugar and processed foods.

  5. Start reading men's fashion and fitness magazines. Look for inspiration and stay on top of current trends. Once you get into the habit you'll be able to shop for styles and put outfits together without help.

  6. Know the difference between the classic and stylish looks and the super trendy. You'll be far better off style-wise by knowing the difference. Find a super fashionable guy working at a department store and ask for suggestions. Don't go in at a super busy time.

  7. Gay guy friends are great to shop with. They can be brutally honest and can often offer male fashion advise that women cannot.

  • Warnings

  1. If you want to wax your "bikini" area you can find professionals who specialize in waxing men. Call your local day spas and salons. Shave if possible.

  2. Don't wear clothes that plaster too much brand name, you want to draw attention to you, not your clothes. Don't be a billboard.

ARE YOU REALLY HAPPY?

It seems to me that happiness is the most important thing for this short life. Don't waste your life. Ask yourself “What do I want from life?” The answer almost always is "I want to be happy.” As you analyse your life you will find you have many reasons to be happy. Count your family, your looks (hehehe), your actually being alive. Decide to be Happy.

Here are some ways to be happy:

Step 1
Don't start big with meditation or trying to find your identity. Start with basics. Go to sleep at a decent hour. And don't get overly hungry. These two things have a big impact on happiness.

Step 2
As we know feelings follow actions. Act happy. Walk like you would if you were happy. Smile like you would if you were happy. Actually, try to feel like you are more happy. You will find yourself feeling happier.

Step 3
Give anger time to diminish. Having and showing anger related to any annoyances increases your feelings. If you wait, anger often diminishes. Don't start by acting out anger.

Step 4
Feelings often follow actions. Deliberately act happy. You will find yourself feeling happier. If you are angry. Do something or think happy thoughts for those you are angry with or if religious say a prayer for them. Your thoughts and feelings will relax. This is very effective.

Step 5
Realize that doing anything is a positive step. Your brain is stimulated by anything new, and dealing with an unexpected situation gives you satisfaction. If you do new things ie. learn a game, travel, or just go somewhere you will be happier than people who stick to the familiar regular old activities that they already do. Even cleaning out a closet or garage will help.

Step 6
Don’t expect perfection. Stop the need to impress the people around you. Realize no one is perfect.

Step 7
Schedule your own time. Take at least an one hour each day when you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. Exercise, do a hobby, walk, read, meditate or pray. Pamper yourself. This renews your energy and focus.

Step 7
Schedule your own time. Take at least an one hour each day when you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. Exercise, do a hobby, walk, read, meditate or pray. Pamper yourself. This renews your energy and focus.

Step 9
Try not to be alone. Go out with friends or family. Talk on the phone regularly. Go to a movie, or shopping or do things you always loved but have not had the time to do. Call friends and watch a funny movie together. Try to Be grateful for people around you. Look for small favours and blessings and acknowledge them.

Step 10
Help Others. It has been proven that helping others gives you satasfaction and happiness. Make someone’s else's life more happy by contributing in your own small way. Also Re-assess your priorities. Spend time with your family and pray if you are religious. Stay in the present. You are ok now, don't borrow troubles. Do not waste time regretting your past or worrying about the future.

Try to laugh each and every day. Smile for no reason. Focus on things that keep you happy. Tune out or forget your worries, everybody in this world, has problems. It all depends on the way you look at life. What you focus on is what you get.

SO WHO SAID IT WAS EASY?

So who said it was easy to keep old flames burning?
Even experts could use a little divine help now and then.
The easy part is to go out and be brilliant as Shakespeare.
Harder--much harder--to be the light dancing in someone else's eyes.
Lights such as love require more faith than fuel.
Of all leaps, the most dangerous is into the mind of your lover.
Regarding miracles: What is less explicable than
Remaining in love through the long icy anguish of anger?
All lovers long for freedom only slightly less than they fear it.
In the end, love burns not desire but fear.
Not one of us would be capable of keeping the fire burning
Except for the knowledge that it is the sweetest, best, and most
beautiful thing in our lives.

I CHANGED TO WHAT I AM NOW (ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, IT'S ALWAYS YOU)

For the past months, yesterday, today I've thought of you,
Your fear of loving me, your fear of pain,
My own reluctance soon to love again,
And why we often flee what we pursue.
I've thought: if we could make time disappear,
Prune past and future, make the moment flower,
Lobotomize all save this single hour,
Then we could love with neither hope nor fear.
But when we pause to watch the moment flow,
Beneath we see eternity and space,
So thin a moving film is time and place,
Removing us, and all we love and know.

I cannot but anticipate the end:
Desire a lover, yet fear to lose a friend.

LOVING A FRIEND

Sometimes people grow together slowly,
As trees reach across an old stone wall,
Entangling roots and crossing slender branches
Till one can barely tell which comes from which.

You've become part of my life slowly,
As music, often played, lives in the heart,
Shaping its surroundings to its beauty,
Mirroring the sanctum of its source.

I've come to this realization slowly,
As a deer stands at a clearing, nostrils wide,
Quivers rippling down its delicate legs,
Eyes resigned as lakes await the wind.

Say, my friend, what you must tell me slowly,
Whether my love is also yours, as the sun
Rises or sets over a tranquil valley,
Filling the heart with more than it can hold.
