MY YESTERDAYS

Oh, I think I see them. Are they? Yes, there they are." Finally, after long months, my friends, for a long time, have finally returned to me. That’s actually the way I felt. We have a strange relationship. I’ve always considered them mine and they pretty much owned me too. It had worked really well for all of us, until now.

Running past me without even a second glimpse, they jumped full force into the arms of each other. All of us had always been like peas in a pod so I wasn’t at all surprised he leapt into his arms first. And as usual the whole friendship-nagging thing started right back up again. Just proves that distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder between friends.

They turned to me in a slightly awkward glance. "I thought you had to work?!" Their expression lightened as they bear hugged me. You know when a hug lasts slightly longer than normal, that’s how all of our hugs felt.

Making friends for a lot of us comes naturally, but maintaining these friendships may become somewhat difficult. This is because true friendship cannot survive without these three aspects: Love, Respect and Honesty. If any of these aspects are lacking in the friendship, it will slowly disintegrate. True friendship needs equal shares of love, respect and honesty. Therefore, to maintain true friendship, you need the whole package, just not apart of it.

DEAR FUTURE LOVE

I promise that once I see, I won't let you go. Just give me reasons to stay and be strong.

Being with me will be a bumpy road. I hope that you'll be by my side in every journey. I also hope tha you will help me resolve the issues I have. In return, each night that we will sleep, I will tell you how much I love you that I've enjoyed the day but is still looking forward for tomorrow because I know that you will be there...

Can you stand if I get crazy sometimes? I also have tantrums. I really don't talk when I'm upset but that doesn't mean I don't love you anymore.

If I entrust you something important to me, that means I'm willing to commit. Will you promise to work things out? That if there's something bothering you, you'll feel comfortable letting your thoughts. And it's ok if you'll lay your head on my shoulder without words too. I promise to hold your hand.

I've waited for quite sometime now and yes, it may seem a cliche but I died each day that I've waited for you. What's another months or another 5 years to wait?

I long for that day when I can finally say that the search is finally over...

Culprits of Premature Aging (Adapted)

By Tatin Yang for Yahoo! Southeast Asia

1. Do you always have to get a sugar fix?
Indulging your sweet tooth may be rebounding on you not just on the scale, but on your face, too. "Too much sugar in the body causes 'glycation,' which can cause premature aging," says Diana Lorenzo, M.D., of Skinhealth.

Glycation is a bonding process between fat, protein and sugar that occurs inside the tissues, where it can cause muscle inflexibility, inflammation and the production of free radicals, a culprit behind aging. You don't have to go give up sugar entirely (yet), but dial down the sugar intake and switch to small pieces of dark chocolate or low-sugar fruits when craving sweets.

2. Are you a side sleeper?
"Sleeping on one's side does not technically cause premature aging, but it can cause wrinkles, which make you look aged," says Lorenzo. Favoring a sleeping position on your side applies pressure on one side of the face, resulting in wrinkles in the nasolabial folds (the area along your nose and lips that forms parentheses when you smile); many dermatologists can take one look at a person's face and guess immediately which side they sleep on based on the lines on their faces.

Practice sleeping on your back (putting a pillow underneath your knees helps, since it'll be harder for you to shift on your side). If you sleep with the lights on or with a night light, this may be causing you to unconsciously furrow your brow, which can cause lines along the forehead area; wear a sleep mask to help shut out the light.

3. Are you sleeping enough? Are you stressed?

Stress or lack of sleep results in the overproduction of the hormone cortisol, which is also responsible for breaking down collagen and elastin (both are structural proteins which support the skin). Lorenzo explain that this also hastens the production of free radicals.

Bolster your body's response to free radicals by loading up on antioxidants—vitamins A, C, E which you can find in supplements and healthy food like fruits, vegetables and salmon. You can also look for these antioxidants on anti-aging creams, serums, and moisturizers. Also, make sure to get enough time in bed.

4. Is your skin dry?

"Skin that is too dry is less elastic, making it prone to wrinkles," explains Dr. Lorenzo. It is really important to hydrate skin from the inside and outside. Apart from getting your recommended daily intake of water, make sure to keep the outer layer of your skin well-moisturized. Look for a moisturizer suited to your skin type and the climate (e.g., gel formula for hot days, cream for evenings and colder seasons).

5. Hanging out with smokers?

We already know that smoking is bad for our health and for our skin as it breaks down collagen and elastin, while the act of smoking itself causes wrinkles around the lips from habitual puffing. But you also won't be doing your skin any favors if you keep inhaling second-hand smoke. "Passive smoking is also hazardous for the skin; it's as if you are a smoker yourself when you are in an environment filled with smoke," explains Lorenzo.

Encourage your friends to hang out in less smoky venues and persuade your smoker friends to ditch the habit (if that might possibly cause your friends to dump you instead, at the very least ask him or her to smoke somewhere else). Your skin (and lungs) will thank you later.

6. Are you a sun worshiper?

"The sun is the number one culprit in premature aging, because of photoaging," reveals Lorenzo. Photoaging is a term used for the skin's aging reaction from chronic exposure to the sun's UVA and UVB rays. Visible effects include wrinkling, discoloration, leathered skins, and tightened, stretched lips.

Of course, you can't avoid the sun like a vampire (unless the vampire is from Twilight), just make sure you use a moisturizer or day cream with at built-in sunscreen and if you plan on sun bathing, coat yourself in thick sunscreen of SPF 30 and above, and limit sun exposure during its harshest period (usually between 10 am to 4 pm).

Turn On!

Part of jealousy is the sexual arousal that naturally arises when we imagine our beloved making love -- no matter if it's with someone else. It is the intensity of this sexual current which gives jealousy its dangerous passion

When jealousy surges, turn this passion to good use. Give yourself permission to feel sexually excited. Let this be an opportunity to build the energy and circulate it within you rather than immediately seeking to discharge it by making love with your beloved

When you have mastered the art of circulating your sexual energy and can handle really high voltage arousal, ask your beloved to tell you about hir erotic encounters with others. Better yet, ask if you can watch. When the time is right, use conscious touch to transmit your fire to your beloved and feel hir melt in your arms. Thus, the circle is closed.

Work Ethics

Is there someone in your life whose very presence makes you feel weighted down from holding your tongue? You don't like the way he talks or someone who acts as Mr. Know-It-All? He always has something negative to say. You can't stand being around him, yet something keeps you there. What can you do?

Perhaps this adage applies - people are our mirrors. We see in them what we put in front of them.

One day, I realized that there was too much criticism in my workplace and that, more importantly, I played a large role in it. In the midst of meditation I asked to be relieved of this burden. I found myself asking what the alternatives were so I took out my Merriam-Webster thesaurus and began searching for the antonym and contrasted words of "criticize."

At first, I felt excited about words like praise, approve, and endorse. I started searching for synonyms of synonyms and making a list. As the list grew, I started feeling insecure and unsure of what I wanted to do with it. These were all action verbs. Could I actually praise him to his face? Could I approve of his voice? Could I endorse him as knowledgeable?

I realized that I very seldom felt like performing the actions on that list. The problem was that the list of words was so powerfully positive that I didn't have enough energy to act upon them. This energy that I'm talking about is Life Force energy, Chi, Ra, Kundalini. Criticism had become such an integral part of my life - thoughts, self-expression and perspective - that I unwittingly had blotted out the very energy that I needed to be truly joyful.

It's sad, I know. The good news is that I made a decision. I would gently, without criticism or time limits, apply those actions to myself before I tried them out on others. When I made this decision, the burden lifted off of me. I had given myself time to improve myself. (Hey, "improve" is one of the action words!) So far, the results have been encouraging. I find less of a need to criticize myself, and, therefore, others; although, from time to time, I must rush back to my list as a reminder of what I could be doing instead of criticizing.

Here is my list:

Languages of Love

The main cause of relationship failure is the age-old issue: lack of communication. However, the concept of communication is as vast as the Milky Way galaxy. And, it's quite daunting to think about where to begin.

To figure out how to get happiness in any kind of relationship (and for the other person to also get what he wants) you've got to be aware of your love language, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, marriage counselor and author of the New York Times bestseller The 5 Love Languages. Dr. Chapman outlines the five love languages as follows:

1. Physical affection, which can easily be mistaken for something malicious and only related to sex, but that's not necessarily the case. People who are touchy-feely and enjoy giving and receiving hugs and pats on the back, holding hands, or touching someone's face when they're trying to communicate have this love language.

2. Acts of service, like cooking, cleaning, taking the dogs out for a walk, or helping their loved ones do errands, are what people who speak this love language use to show their affection.

3. Material things. Some find it hard to actually say how much they care. So, rather than verbalize it or do an actual physical gesture, they course it through gifts and tokens.

4. Quality time is the most intangible language, but for some, it can also be the most sacred. To give time and undivided attention is how some people choose to prove their true feelings. These are people who live busy lives (or maybe very isolated ones) but step out of their daily routines to share that time with someone they feel deserves it.

5. Words of validation. Talk may be cheap for some, but others find kind words priceless. They love to hear how much they are loved, appreciated, and adored.

Everyone wants to feel validated in their relationships. We all want to feel that we aren't being taken for granted and that our efforts mean something to the people we care about. But, because there are so many ways to communicate our love, we may find ourselves in a situation where our partners are actually showing appreciation, but we aren't aware of it because we expect it to be expressed in a different manner.

We need to stop and consider that our partners may actually be showering us with affection in their own love language. But, what happens is, we are oblivious to in-your-face signals, and they, in turn, end up wrongly thinking we don't care. In the end, we become disappointed because we were assuming the worst in what is just a clear case of love miscommunication. Evidently, there is much love to go around, but we need to make the connection work!

So, you need to discuss with your partner what he responds to best: gifts, words, time, touch, or acts of services. That way, you can give him what he wants and in turn, he can give you what you want. Remember, you need to ask yourself, too: What do I respond to most? And how do I show affection? Say, you may choose to receive gifts from a loved one but personally find yourself always showing affection through words. You may even have more than one language! The key is to assess yourself and your partner, then learn to speak each other's language.

So, what is your language of love? What do you best respond to? Let's get a discussion going in the comments! :)

L.O.V.E

--One can be unhappy by oneself, but to be truly tormented, one must love.

--Love is harder to accept than to give.

--To love is to embrace life. To love fully is to embrace both death and life.

--The secret of happiness is simple: be loving, giving, caring.
Why, then, are so many unhappy?

Because they are afraid..

Sex, Love, and Marriage

The years that we had... Tama, walang "forever". You are my greatest inspiration which is why you are also the reason why I can't move on. Now people reading this will realize and say "kaya pala"! :) Mind you, i have tried... There is "Us" and "Love". "Sex"... It ended with "Marriage" but not with me. You know who you are. No need of name dropping. Just want to give you my wishes that you should take care of your family. Maybe you'll be seeing less of me but i think it's for the better:

1. One needs always to remember that the point of marriage is not sex but love.

2. Love, like the air, is often taken for granted. But a happily married couple both know that they need love and are grateful to have it.

3. Sex brings ecstasy and then satisfaction. Love brings grace and then fulfillment.

4. One can enjoy both sex and love, but one cannot pursue both. For the pursuit of sexual ecstasy is self-centered and tends towards isolation, whereas the pursuit of love is other-centered and tends towards communion.

5. Marriage is difficult and requires constant compromise. One cannot share a life without losing autonomy, but what one gains is well worth the loss.

6. The only way to be completely autonomous is to be completely alone.

Moving On After a Break Up

Break-up of a relationship often spells a doom for the two people involved in it. Life suddenly becomes listless and there is a great void to be dealt with. This phase can be pretty traumatic for the couple, especially for the person who did not instigate the break-up. Everyone has their own way of dealing with a relationship break-up. Some people may shut themselves totally away from the world, while the more resilient ones may turn into extreme extroverts and may begin going out and partying like never before. No matter which way you choose, the basic 3-step process of recovering remains the same - mourning, acceptance and then moving on.

I understand, giving someone a
relationship advice is very easy but it is very difficult for the concerned person to follow it, to the word. It would be highly unfair to expect a rational and practical behavior from a person who just had a break up. Yet, I am penning down a few ways of mending a broken heart and steps to moving on after a break up.

Do Not Blame
People often resort to blame game, after their
relationship hits rock. It is unfair to blame yourself or your partner or anyone else for that matter. Blaming and pointing fingers won't really help you to move on, rather it will delay the process. Instead, just think that whatever happened, happened for a good reason. Do not have bitter feelings for the other person.

Cry Your Heart Out
Demise of a relationship is no less traumatic than demise of a person. The very thought that the person with whom you shared wonderful moments, will no longer be with you, is itself very depressing. Hence, do not shy away from expressing your genuine feelings. It's okay to cry out and isolate yourself from the world for a few days, just don't make it a habit. Call a friend who can understand you and can offer you a genuine advice.

Do Not Wait for Him/Her to Return
Do not live in the hope that the person you loved will come back to you. Do not try to establish the contact with the person, in the same hope. Remember, there is no point in 'being friends', as that will only make you more hopeful and post-pone the trauma of dealing with a broken relationship. Instead, leave the past behind and start your life afresh.

Re-acquaint with Friends and Family
When in relationship, the couple naturally tends to drift away from their circle of family and friends and engross in a world of their own. So, this is the right time to re-acquaint with those long lost friends and relatives. Go out with them more often and you'll discover that there are other relations in life which are just as important.

Pamper Yourself
Do not feel sorry for yourself, as that can hamper your self esteem in the long run. Instead, pamper yourself by doing all those things you longed for, while you were in the relationship. Buy some nice clothes, make an appointment at a spa, take that vacation you so desperately needed, in short, do all those activities which you wanted to do all those years.

Sort Out the Legal Matters
If there are any legal matters such as shared accommodation, joint bank accounts etc. involved, then sort them as early as possible. Do not delay these matters as they may create complications for you in future and open the wounds again.

Beware of a New Relationship
Do not rush into a new relationship, before you have given yourself enough time to recover completely, from the previous one. It is very easy to fall for a person who offers a shoulder to cry on during our troubled times. This is the mistake most people do and end up with a wrong person altogether, which eventually results in yet another fall-out. Hence, make sure you are emotionally stable enough to handle another relationship and only then proceed.

Moving on after a break up is definitely not easy, but you can at least make sincere attempts towards it. If you take it as a challenge and face your life positively, you'll emerge a stronger person than you were.

700 Words

You are amazing. You are the creation of yourself. You are that which creates. You are the choice to experience existence – beingness. The only limit to what you can be is your self-belief and your imagination. To be born into this reality is to enter a wonderful, shared illusion that grants you complete free-will in the creation of your own personal reality; this is your creatorship. Within the illusion we believe that we are looking at a separate, objective world where we experience self and other; beneath this apparent separation we are unified; we are one.

Reality is a mirror of your being. You are creation exploring itself in a space-time mirror. Through what you choose to believe you create your reality. You change your reality by changing your beliefs about both it and yourself. The eyes with which you look actually shape what you see (this is now shown in quantum physics). Perception is not passive; it is an act of creation. Your choice of perception forms not only how you experience yourself, but your entire reality. Awakening to your creatorship leads your experience of reality to become more fluid and direct. This is to enter conscious creatorship where what you desire is quickly manifest.

The key to conscious creatorship is the allowance of change; the birthing of the unknown into the known. The basis of allowance is acceptance. To change your reality you must first accept it. As long as you reject what you do not like about your reality you are in denial of your creatorship, leaving you feeling stuck. To accept that you are choosing your reality, release attachment to any preconception of how life should be and instead love what is. This comes through the taking of complete responsibility for every element of your reality. This is to love your choice. It is to love yourself. You are the choice of yourself.

Release your fear. Fear is fear of the unknown, fear of being limitless. Fear creates limitation. There is a natural, beautiful unfolding to life that can only arise when you let go of the control that arises through fear. To face your fear is to allow yourself to be vulnerable and put down the shields you have used to protect yourself. All shields are a representation of a belief in danger and therefore lead you to the very danger you want them to protect you from. Whilst you are barricaded behind shields (fear) you will never truly feel safe. All that blocks you in life is the manifestation of your fear. The discovery of freedom is the realization that the only force pushing against you is you. You hold the key to any cage you may be in. To cease to judge and control your own being is to release struggle and enter joyful, effortless creation.

You are awakening to your creatorship and the nature of the illusion. This is a natural process and requires no more than fearlessly being yourself. This means opening and following your heart. This is your freedom: believe whatever your heart feels to believe. This is to live in the Now. It is to awaken to the equality of all beingness and release judgment of both yourself and the world. Ever changing truth is the reflection of the ever unfolding birth of beingness that is life. In this state there is no such thing as ‘The Truth’. There is no need of an answer for there is no problem. Just be. There are no limits to what you can be; you are infinite. The joy of this life arises through completely allowing your own being.

Within your heart is a dream. The meaning of life is to live that dream. You can only live that dream if you believe you can. Believe in your dream. You are free to be whatever it is you wish to be. You are an embodiment of all creation. The answer to every question you can conceive is within you, for you are both the creator and perceiver of all you experience. Allow your beingness to blossom without limitation or control and you will experience the limitless love and freedom that you are.

Embracing The Mystery

When all the words have been written and all the phrases have been spoken, the great mystery of life will still remain. We may map the terrains of our lives, measure the farthest reaches of the universe, but no amount of searching will ever reveal for certain whether we are all children of chance or part of a great design. And who among us would have it otherwise? Who would wish to take the mystery out of the experience of looking into a newborn infant’s eyes? Who would not feel in violation of something great if we had knowledge of what has departed when we stare into the face of one who has died? These are the events that make us human, that define the distance between us and the stars.

Still, this life is not easy. Much of its mystery is darkness. Tragedies occur; injustices exist. Bad things befall good people, and sufferings are visited upon the innocent. To live we must take the lives of other species; to survive we must leave some of our brothers and sisters by the side of the road. We are prisoners of time, victims of biology, hostages of our own capacity to dream. At times it all seems too much, impossible to accept. We must stand against this. The world is a great and mysterious place, and it contains within it all the possibilities that our hearts can conceive. If we incline our hearts toward the darkness, we will see the darkness. If we incline them toward the light, we will see the light.

Life is but a dream we renew each day. It is up to us to infuse this dream with light, and to cultivate, as best as we are able, the ways and habits of love. Those of great heart have always known this. They have understood that, as honorable as it is to see wrong and to try to correct it, a life well lived must somehow celebrate the promise that life provides. The darkness at the limits of our knowledge — the darkness that sometimes seems to surround us— is merely a way to make us reach beyond certainty, to make our lives a witness to hope, a testimony to possibility, an urge toward the best and the most honorable impulses that our hearts can conceive.

It is not hard. There is in each of us, no matter how humble, a capacity for love. Even if our lives have not taken the course we had envisioned, even if we are less than the shape of our dreams, we are part of the human family. Somewhere, in the most inconsequential corners of our lives, is the opportunity for love. And who can say which acts and moments will make a difference? The universe is a vast and magical membrane of meaning stretching across time and space, and it is not given us to know her secrets and her ways. Perhaps we were placed here to meet the challenge of a single moment; perhaps the touch we make will cause the touch that will change the world.

Are You A Duck Or An Eagle?

I believes that there are two types of people in the world- Ducks and Eagles.

Ducks are easy to recognize. They think in Duck-like ways. They spend all day in the duck pond with their little Duck friends. Their responses sound like quack, quack, quack as they try to convince others that they are right. The Ducks often tend to quote the rules or policy manual to try to avoid hard questions or as a reason to avoid solving a problem. Ducks are often guilty of the exact same things that they often quack (complain) about.

Ducks have no idea that soaring above them all the time are Eagles.

Eagles are people who have found success and soar above conflict. Eagles are optimistic and choose a positive attitude. Eagles are always aware of the Ducks' existence and the dangers that looms within the Duck pond.

Ducks can be very sneaky. They have a way of luring others to join the Duck pond....this includes Eagles Once caught in the pond, Eagles will quack along with the ducks and can often find it difficult to leave. Some are able to leave immediately....others it may take much longer. But most Eagles will leave the pond eventually and begin soaring the skies again. But the majority of Ducks are Ducks. They will never change, even with extensive counseling or training.

Ducks and Eagles can be found in nearly every situation – you'll see them in your offices, homes, churches and organizations. You see them in families and groups of friends. You'll encounter them as you go about your errands and with every person you encounter as a customer.....the bank, grocery store, dry cleaner, restaurants, etc. The Ducks let you know how difficult their job is and what an inconvenience you are. Eagles go above and beyond to provide excellent service…even if it’s just with their positive attitude and general likeability.

Ducks and Eagles are also easy to identify. Look around. I'm sure you can easily identify who belongs in each group. However, do you know what group you belong in?

Within Us Is Everything We Need To Change Our Lives

You have the power to choose how to react AND how to act (if you even choose to act for that matter). If you choose to react negatively to everything around you, then that is exactly what you will bring about in your life. If you choose NOT to act by giving your power away in the form of blame and excuses, your ability to be proactive becomes weaker and weaker as time goes on until you find yourself not being able to do anything at all.

You have the power and the responsibility to react AND to act and the truth is you always had that power within you. You just didn’t know it until you realized the fact that it was this very same power that is responsible for the life you are living today. When that hits us, we tend to focus on the fact that all the bad things in our life were not the fault of others, but the fault of ourselves so we become overly depressed. Never despair because with that being said, it’s leads to this realization.

If you want your life to change, it’s up to YOU to change it and you CAN change it.
Use that same power which has gone out of control that has given you the life today, seize it, and use it to create the life you want. Nobody can change your life except you. Stop pointing the fingers. Start pointing them to yourself. You have the power to act and create circumstances and while you can’t control circumstances and events that are out of your grip, you can control and choose how to respond to them. When we take responsibility for our lives and realize the power that resides in choosing how to react to circumstances and choosing to act in order to create new circumstances, we realize that within us is everything we need to change our lives.

Life's Ironies

A million questions I asked myself tonight. Not knowing if asking it to thyself is worth answering with every ounce of courage in your heart. Trying to seek truth in wisdom from oneself, yet rejecting acceptance from the sight.

These questions we ask ourselves over time are questions of nonsense justifications. We knew from the start we had answers to those questions that’s why we ask ourselves. The only problem or conflict would simply be accepting our own answers.

Reasons. Why do we keep reasoning when in fact our lapse in judgment got us into frisky situations with numerous damages yet push through with what we were never sure of?

Why do we keep reasoning with ourselves when we know from the start how it would end. That we know we let things happen. That we ask ourselves why it happened when we knew we let it happen. And why do we let things happen? Why do we think we lose control of the situation when in fact we were just lazy to control it?

The pain it brings. We ask why we get hurt when in fact we inflicted it on ourselves. Masochism? I doubt that. We just didn’t care about ourselves enough to actually choose not to get hurt. Not to carry the burden of the situation when we actually threw it on our backs without knowing the weight of it. Why do we actually do these to ourselves?

A million questions I ask myself. I ask myself knowing the answers but not man enough to suck up the pain. Not man enough to accept the answers to my own questions. Where is this going? I know I’m going in circles but I always tell myself I don’t know where this is going. I ask myself why I deserve to get hurt knowing I got hurt because I wasn’t sure of myself. Because I never really gave myself a chance, a chance to let myself grow in ways I knew how.

That missing piece, I’ve always known where to search for it but I never did. Instead, I searched in the wrong places. I searched for what’s missing in me, from somebody else. From other people who knew nothing about me. I searched for that missing part knowing where to look yet not searching from where I had to.

Pain. I actually have no grip in words to describe such emotion. Lies and deceit. Why do we tell ourselves we’re fine when in fact we’re not in any way near fine? Do we really have to lie even to ourselves? Do we really have to do it to ourselves to mask not being able to accept the simple truth that we are not okay? What about the times when people call us names and we get angry? Like for example, when someone calls us superficial and we get angry. Why? Why when in fact we know deep down inside that we really are?

We look at the physical aspect at first and then work our way in when it wasn’t designed that way. And that we cannot accept not even to ourselves? Why do we end up masking who we really are when in fact it’s easier to accept the reality of it.

Complicated? No. things are easy. They’re never complicated. People make it complicated. We keep sulking on the drama when there’s actually nothing to be dramatic of. We simply are addicted to the attention we get from the drama. The fuel that burns our souls in ways we couldn’t explain.

Trust. Truth about trust. Simple. We can’t give trust because we can’t even trust ourselves. Believe it or not. That’s where it starts.

Now tell me. Do these things make us stronger? Or it just makes us try to manipulate our brains into thinking we’re getting stronger when In fact we’re cowards who can’t accept ourselves.

Maybe it just boils down to where to begin accepting ourselves. The real us.

Womens Questions, Mens Answers

MAN'S ANSWERS TO EVERY QUESTION A WOMAN EVER ASKS

1. WHY ARE MEN SUCH JERKS?
It's a testosterone thing. Much similar to your PMS thing, we men suffer from testosterone poisoning. Why do you think the average life span of a male is typically 10 years shorter (and it's not just from all the bitching and nagging we have to endure)? Hormone modifies behavior. We're just misunderstood.

2. WHY DO MEN ALWAYS HAVE TO OGLE AT OTHER WOMEN?
Again, this is a testosterone thing. Do you honestly think that all the testosterone just fell out of our bodies the moment we met you? Besides, women do it as well. Women are just much better at not getting caught. I'm fairly certain it's some sort of photographic memory deal. Women take one quick look and memorize it for later reference. Since men lack this ability, we try to burn it into our memory by staring as much as we can.

3. WHY DO MEN ALWAYS TOUCH THEMSELVES, ESPECIALLY IN PUBLIC?
We occasionally need to adjust our little friend and make him happy. It's much like adjusting your bra. Being in public is just an added bonus.

4. WHY DO MEN ALWAYS SAY SUCH STUPID THINGS?
We like to. It's actually a whole lot of fun to see our partner frustrated by a few simple (and well-chosen) words.

5. WHY ARE MEN SO UNCOMMUNICATIVE?
You'd learn to keep your big mouth shut too if every time you open it you get into trouble with your partner.

6. WHY DO MEN HAVE TO ACT LIKE SUCH RETARDS?
Well, we don't actually have to; we do it because we enjoy it. It's the old fashioned pride in a job well done that's missing in so much of the world nowadays.

7. WHY CAN'T MEN JUST SHARE THEIR FEELINGS?
Do we look like women to you? Why is it so hard to understand that men and women are different? How are we supposed to share how we feel when we have no idea how we feel? Unless we're experiencing some extreme emotion like rage, hatred, disgust, or a brick on our foot, we have no idea how we feel. Personally, I get a headache whenever I try to figure out how I feel.

8. WHY CAN'T MEN CUDDLE MORE (I.E. LIE DOWN AND HUG)?
Please... How many hours do you think there is in a day? We oblige you as much as we can, but who the hell (besides women) can stand lying around for hours on end?
We men... Men hunters... Need go roam... Starve in cave... Must go find wildebeest... Now sitting on our asses for hours on end on the other hand is a whole other story.

9. HOW CAN MEN SIT ON THEIR ASSES ALL DAY WITHOUT MOVING?
Men have very powerful sets of sitting muscles developed by evolution that enable us to sit for extended periods of time without getting tired. In prehistoric times, it was often necessary to sit in one spot for extended periods of time while hunting for prey. The more successful hunters were able to sit very still for very extended periods of time thereby passing on this ability to their progeny. The fidgety types were all gobbled up by saber toothed tigers etc. The end result is that almost all modern men are born with this innate ability.

10. WHY CAN'T MEN JUST SAY, "I LOVE YOU?"
Men are taught from a tender young age to be self-sufficient. To say that we love you is equivalent to saying that we need you. Most men consider that a character fault. It's not easy to admit to one's own character faults.

11. WHY DO MEN SAY "I LOVE YOU" WHEN THEY HARDLY KNOW ME?
Ho, Ho, Ho... Aren't you special? Well, some men think it's a sure-fire way to get into your pants. Surprisingly, it actually still works quite well.

12. WHY DOESN'T MY PARTNER EVER ANSWER ME?
We just simply don't have the energy to answer every single one of your questions. If we think we do not have the answer, or that you will not like the answer, we simply remain quiet and save the energy for other things.

13. WHY WON'T MEN EVER PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES?
Why should we? It doesn't really bother us that much. Besides, we know damn well you'll pick it up.

14. WHAT'S WITH ALL THE BELCHING AND FARTING?
This usually only occurs after months of courting. It's our way to let you know that we're comfortable with you. Believe it or not, it's actually a sign of affection. Besides, holding it for extended periods of time gives us stomach cramps.

15. WHY DO MEN HATE SHOPPING?
It's an evolutionary thing. Men hunt. Women gather. We just want to go out, kill it, and bring it back. Who wants to spend hours and hours to look at things we have no intention of killing? Err... buying?

Letting Go and Moving On

when we let go, it doesn't always mean that we no longer love that person; it's just best to have your lives on separate ways.

right things done today, are best apologies for the wrongs of yesterday...

i gave you reasons to hate me. i wasn' there when you best needed me. i made myself a fool just not to outshine your ex. guess what? i had push you to the limit, yes. but seeing the two of you together again makes me happy. you belong to each other.

if only i have known all these or realized earlier, then our lives should not be as complicated as now. regrets indeed. goodluck and best wishes.

see you two, when i see you...
